If you are a young person between the ages of 12-20, have been using alcohol or other drugs and, are wondering if your use is becoming a problem, the following information may be for you. If you know your alcohol or other drug use is causing problems for you then the following information is definitely for you.
Ridgewood Rehab and Treatment Center has services available to youth. There are two outpatient counselors who work specifically with youth and their families. We can assist you in examining your past and present chemical use, explore what effects may be having on your life and figure out a plan to help you make changes that will improve the quality of your life. All you have to do to get started is call 674-4300 and ask for the "intake worker". She/he will complete an intake form over the phone with you. Your name will then be placed on the outpatient counseling waiting list. You will be assigned to an outpatient counselor and we will contact you to set up your first appointment. If you are not sure about making that first call on your own, talk to your school guidance counselor or better yet, talk to your parents. They can support you in taking that first step that may change your life.
