Numerous presentations
to hundreds of youth within the community, both in the summer and
during the school year.
 | In the winter of 2009, we
participated in the Respect program with the Saint John Police Force.
We spoke to all of the grade 9 students in the Saint John area about
the impact of substance and gambling abuse.

Provided peer
pressure reversal programs for over 6,000 local youth using the
"Too Cool For Drugs" Program for youth grades 2-4 and
"How to Say No and Keep Your Friends" for youth grades 5-8.
(Interactive program teaching social competencies).

Provided in-service
training for 300 employees Irving Paper (re: adult&youth drug use
and services available in our community).

Provided speakers for
Parent Groups; Community Centers staff and children; schools; church
groups; women in the Saint John Regional Correctional Center,
Ridgewood, the Saint John Boys & Girls Club and the YM-YWCA.

Brought to New Brunswick a
prevention program for elementary children teaching healthy choices
about alcohol, drugs and gambling: "Sense and Nonsense".

Provided services to
parents on a walk in or phone call basis. (625 walk ins & 650
phone calls).
